A military veteran living in Norfolk has told us he's feeling "a crazy amount of emotions" ahead of representing Great Britain at the Invictus Games

"The atmosphere is going to be insane, and it's going to be a great event to watch"
"I'm excited, nervous, there's a crazy amount of emotions going on now. I think we're less than 80 days away from it now.
"Whatever happens out there, I'm just really pleased to be a part of it and to have met some incredible people along the way.
"You would be in awe of what people athletes are achieving. There's people there with various disabilities, illnesses or mental health conditions- their resilience and use of sport is amazing.

"Originally I was injured back in 2019 because of a severe injury to my leg, that ultimately resulted in an amputation.
"Six months after that I did a multi-activity course, doing all different type of sports and activities- and it was then that I thought...Hey, I can still do these things"
"As long as I perform at my best on the day, that's the most important thing. Getting to do it with like-minded people and showcasing what is still possible is just absolutely fantastic".
