We're counting down the hours until the Women's Euros final, where England will take Germany at Wembley.

Friends and family across Norfolk will likely be gathering this afternoon in local pubs and bars to see if the Lionesses can get the job done.

"I think the ladies are going to do it"

One of those who will be showing the game, is the Murderers in Norwich.

Their landlord, Phillip Cutter says the teams unprecedented progress has been bringing people in and they are ready for this afternoon:

"We have noticed this year that without the men's world cup, that has been moved to November and December, normally people have to come into the pub to watch football- so when the weather is good, it's a driver to get people back into the pub- and with no men's football being on this summer, it's been a welcome bonus to have the ladies doing so well."

"The group stages were quite quite, the quarter finals were busy, the semi final was really busy and we expect the place to be rocking for the final- I think the ladies are going to do it, I think they are going to win 2-0".

"We have got a tried and tested format, here. We've got plenty of staff, plenty of room and plenty of screens. I'm sure we'll be able to get everybody in, we know what we are doing."

"Having more games is better for us"

Mr Cutter went on to say that the resumption of the Championship and the English Football League, is vitally needed during these touch economic times:

"Seeing Norwich play earlier is great! Having more games on a Saturday is great, having more games is better for us as well. Hopefully that feel good factor when they start winning again, will drive people back into the pubs as well"
