Norfolk Police are again asking us to obey lockdown rules this weekend.

Between Friday and Sunday last week(22-24 January), 55 fixed penalty notices were handed out, which included a man who'd travelled from Bristol to Norwich to walk his dog and another man who'd come from Cardiff to Norwich to visit friends.

Others included six people from different households found at a house party, celebrating a birthday, as well as six people from four different households who had gathered for a BBQ to celebrate a child's birthday. Three people who had travelled from Coventry to visit friends in the county. Fines were also issued to people gathered outside a property, some of whom had travelled from Bury St Edmunds and people from different households found sitting in a car together at Gorleston.

Officers will continue to enforce coronavirus restrictions as they do their bit to help reduce the spread of the virus.
