Police are appealing for witnesses after a baby fell to the floor while in the care of their parent on a bus.

It happened on Saturday 16 March 2024 on the 14.35 double decker bus travelling from Hunstanton bus station to King’s Lynn.

The six week old baby was taken to hospital for checks and was later discharged.

Following the incident a man aged in his 40s and from the Terrington St Clement area was arrested on suspicion of child neglect and taken to King’s Lynn Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

He was subsequently released on police bail until June.

Officers say there were a number of people on the bus who witnessed the incident who could help the investigation.
