Norfolk charity: talk about your feelings on GCSE results day
GCSE and BTEC results are being handed out to students across the country, after two years of work on various subjects
A local mental health worker is urging students to talking about how they're feelings, this GCSE results day.
Today, teenagers are finding out how they did- with these results likely to determine some of their next steps.
Results and grades can be picked up from as early as 8am, today.
"You are young and this is just a snapshot of your life"
Alex Michael is from Norfolk and Waveney Mind:
"Something really useful to do if you're disappointed is to go and do a hobby that you enjoy and are interested in.
"That is such an important part of what forms who you are, so if this part of your life didn't go to plan, go and engage in another part which make you, yourself"
"It's also important to remember that you are young and this is just a snapshot of your life and the adventures that you're about to embark on after this.
"So, I would really try and take stock of this moment, as being such a small part of your whole life. Your grades are absolutely not tied to your identity".
