Boats damaged in fire on Norfolk Broads

Firefighters from seven teams helped put out the blaze

A fire on the Norfolk Broads has damaged multiple boats.

Firefighters from Carrow, Sprowston, North Earlham, Wroxham, Long Stratton, Bungay and Lowestoft were called to Pits Lane in Chedgrave just before 4pm yesterday (5th August) to reports a boat was on fire.

It took them around two hours to put out the blaze.

Local boating company Pacific Cruisers confirmed no one was hurt.
