New electric car chargers to be installed in King's Lynn
Upgrades will make 50kw chargers available at the St James Car Park
New electric car chargers are set to be installed at a car park in King's Lynn, as part of a series of upgrades.
From next Monday, work will start to create a series of 50kw chargers at the town's St James Car Park.
The devices can charge up to six vehicles at a time, with users able to pay using an app a BP pulse membership card, RF ID card, or a credit or debit card.
It means several of the charging bays at the car park will be shut from June 26 to July 14.
Access to some of the disabled parking will be restricted on June 28, 29 and 30 to allow for underground cables to be installed.
The upgrades are being paid for the West Norfolk Council, using money from the government as well as EV charging firm BP Pulse.
