A new bus service has been launched to make it easier to get around King's Lynn.
The 3H service operated by Go To Town launched earlier this week. It's one of a number of improvements to bus routes funded by around £50m of government transport cash.
It will run from the bus station seven times a day on weekdays and six times a day on Saturdays.
The bus will serve the new Primary Care Hub due to open next year on Nar Ouse Way, as well as the St James Medical Practice in South Wootton.
It will also stop on Vancouver Avenue, Tennyson Avenue, Sandpiper Way, Dragonfly Way and the North Lynn Industrial Estate.
Graham Plant, a Norfolk Council Council Cabinet Member, said, “Being able to bring this new service to King’s Lynn, to connect parts of the town and even bring unused bus stops back into use as key links is exactly what we fought to secure this funding from the DfT for.
"We are giving drivers the choice to leave their cars at home for some journeys, and making sure that those who don’t drive have regular, affordable transport to key parts of the town.”
A single fare will cost around £1.50.
Norfolk County Council's Bus Service Improvement Plan has already seen major investment into bus lanes in some of the county's major destinations, with improvments to eight different services so far.
New bus stops are also planned in Sheringham, Cromer, Diss and Hunstanton.
