The investigation into the murder of a woman who was stabbed multiple times in the neck in Wisbech will feature in a new double episode of 24 Hours in Police Custody.

47-year-old Eliza Bibby died in January 2023, with a list of potential suspects leading to a complex investigation also involving drugs activity.

In November last year, 48-year-old Jamie Boughen of Waterlees Road in Wisbech, was found guilty of her murder and sentenced to life in prison.

Detective Inspector Dale Mepstead, who led the investigation, said: “The documentary follows the team from day one through what is a complex and challenging murder investigation."

“It takes the audience through all lines of enquiries as we work to discover who is responsible for Eliza’s death."

“This was a tragic case which really exposes the devastating consequences of drug addiction and my thoughts remain with Eliza’s family.”

The episodes will air on the 9th and 10th of September.
