Swimmers have been told to stay away from the water at Mundesley beach once again due to pollution leaking into the water.

North Norfolk District Council says it was informed of a water overflow by Anglian Water earlier.

Both the council and the RNLI are advising against any swimming in the area until further notice.

It comes just months after the beach was reopened, after a major sewage leak at a nearby pumping station.

Anglian Water was told to make major improvements by the regulator last week, with the amount of pollution generated by the company among the key concerns.
