James are set to play the Sunday lunchtime slot in celebration of their 40th Anniversary, complete with a 20 piece orchestra and gospel choir.

The band said: “James are very happy to announce an exclusive UK festival date - playing with an orchestra and choir. We're playing Latitude Festival at midday on Sunday July 23rd when we won't be competing with noisy neighbours!

"We will be the morning balm to your late night hangovers''

The four-day event will also host Siouxsie Sioux, The Kooks, Metronomy, Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott, Black Midi and The Lightning Seeds as part of its music line-up.

Latitude 2023 will see the return of The Guest Chef restaurant, featuring a menu curated by a different famous face each day, and the Mind, Body & Zen area for meditation, yoga and workshops.
