Man's body found near Thetford during search for missing man

Police have told the family of a missing man

Police say the body of a man's been found in Santon Downham, near Thetford.

It was found by a member of the public around 5:30pm yesterday (17th June).

Whilst formal identification hasn't taken place yet, the family of 60-year-old John Crook, who had been reported missing on Saturday 15 June in Santon Downham, have been informed.

Officers tell us they're not treating the death as suspicious and will prepare a file for the coroner in due course.
