Dad 'stunned' to have found beloved pet Arthur thought to have been stolen
The pooch went missing from Castle Acre last week
It's a happy ending for a dog, believed stolen from Castle Acre.
Arthur the Border Terrier was taken from the Stock Green area just over a week ago, but turned up over the weekend, safe and well.
Norfolk Police issued an appeal last week to help find Arthur, and on Saturday, he was found behind a shed in Castle Acre.
His owner, Luke Palmer believe social media made him too hot to handle.
He said:
"I was totally stunned. You could have knocked me over with a feather, I think, because I really thought I would never see him again.
"But seeing him so healthy and dry and happy was amazing - probably one of the best feelings I've ever had, getting him back.
"He's really OK! He doesn't seem scared or frightened in any way and he seems back to his normal self.
"I just couldn't believe my luck getting him back."
