Man stable in hospital after stabbing in Diss

A man is in a stable condition in hospital after a stabbing in Diss yesterday morning.

Police were called to Victoria Road at around 10:50am to reports of an assault. Ambulance crews were also called to the scene.

One man was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich with suspected stab wounds, where he remains.

It's thought both people involved in the assault are known to each other.
