Man seriously assaulted in Norwich

Police are appealing for witnesses, after an assault in Norwich.

The incident happened at around 9.30pm on Friday 31 October, on Station Approach, where a man aged in his 20s was seriously assaulted by a group of men. The men fled the scene.

The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries, where he remains.

Officers have since arrested a teenage boy on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, robbery and affray. He was taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre today (3 November) for questioning. He has been released on bail until 29 January 2026.
