Man jailed for assault and coercive behaviour in Norfolk
It's after he subjected his victim to physical and mental abuse
A man has been jailed for seven years after being found guilty of assault charges and coercive and controlling behaviour in Norfolk.
23 year old Tom Jacklin, of Churchill Road in Gorefield, appeared before Norwich Crown Court earlier this week.
He was convicted of controlling and coercive behaviour, assault by penetration and assault occasioning actual bodily harm, after a string of incidents in 2019 and 2020.
He has also been made subject to an indefinite restraining order and has been ordered to pay £170.
Investigating officer DC Gemma Garner said: “Jacklin is a violent and manipulative offender who subjected his victim to both physical and mental abuse."
"It is pleasing he’s behind bars where he will be unable to harm anyone else.”
