Man in hospital after being found in water at Riverside Walk

A man has been taken to hospital after being found in the water at Riverside Walk in Norwich.

Police were called to reports a man was seen in the water this morning (9 July).

Emergency services, including police, fire and ambulance were on scene at 10.28am following the incident.

A man, in his 50s, was found in the river, off the Marriot’s Way and was given treatment at scene and has been taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

Anyone with any information is being urged to contact Norfolk Police.
