A man in his 80s has been given a police escort after driving his mobility scooter along a major road in Norfolk.

The man was spotted by volunteers at the Norfolk Accident Rescue Service on the A11 last night (September 4) at around 6pm, close to Wymondham.

Norfolk Police say the man was 'safely escorted from the road' and was 'returned home safe and well'.
