Man dies after being pulled from UEA swimming pool
He got into difficulty at Sportspark yesterday afternoon
A man has died after getting into difficulty in a swimming pool at the UEA yesterday.
Ambulance crews were called to the Sportspark at around 3pm.
The man was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich hospital in a critical condition but passed away at approcimately 5am this morning.
Health and safety inspectors will now look into the circumstances around the death
The UEA says the pool will be closed until further notice.
