Man charged after Norwich Motum Road stabbing

It comes after a teenager was seriously injured last week

A man has been charged after a stabbing on Motum Road in Norwich last week.

A 33 year old man was arrested at a property in Sprowston on Tuesday. Samuel Steward, of Motum Road, has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a bladed article.

He's also been charged with the production of cannabis and is due to appear before Norwich Magistrates' Court today (February 10).

The charges come after a teenager was seriously injured on Motum Road last Thursday (February 3). He was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich Hopsital and was subsequently charged with aggravated burglary.

Five people were initially arrested in the aftermath of the attack.

A 17 year old boy has also appeared in court in connection with the same case, admitting to two conts of possession of a bladed article and one count of Affray.
