A man in his 40s has been assaulted in Dereham.

He was walking through recreaction ground in Commercial Road between 3.30pm-4.45pm on Wednesday 2 June, when three men approached him.

They punched him to the face and he back of the head, causing him to fall. They went on to kick him as he lay on the ground.

Police are investigating and would like to hear from anyone who saw what happened or who has information.
