Man and woman die in crash near King's Lynn

The collision between a car and a lorry happened shortly after 10am this morning (21 October).

A man and a woman have died following a crash near King's Lynn this morning (21 October).

Emergency services were called to the A1122 at Stradsett shortly after 10am after the collision between a black Proton and a red Volvo goods vehicle.

The driver of the car, in his 60s, was declared dead at the scene.

The passenger, a woman in her 70s sustained critical injuries and later died in hospital.

The road remained closed for a number of hours while investigation work continued.

Police are keen to hear from any witnesses who saw the vehicles being driven at the time of the collision or before.

Drivers are requested to check their dash cams for any evidence they may have.
