A man has pleaded guilty to three offences after an incident involving a machete in Gaywood last month.

49-year-old David Pemment of Oak Circle was charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and two counts of having an offensive weapon after a man was attacked last month.

He pleaded guilty to all three charges when he appeared at Norwich Crown Court on Saturday, Norfolk Police have revealed.

One man suffered serious injuries to his hand after trying protect another man from the weapon.

Pemment will be sentenced on November 17.
