Norwich sit sixth in the Championship after a 3-1 loss to Leicester City.

The Canaries took the lead after 20 minutes, thanks to Gabriel Sara, but eventually succumbed to a strong Foxes team.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall equalised before the break and Stephy Mavididi gave them the lead before Jamie Vardy scored a third in injury time.

Head coach David Wagner reflected on the score: "The result is disappointing. It's never nice to concede a defeat...

"It's disappointing. We know what went wrong, we know what to do better, we know that we are better than what we have shown.

"Next one is a very big one, at home again where we have to show that defensively we are fully on it and offensively in ball possession, much better."

Wagner named an unchanged lineup following on from the victory against Plymouth Argyle on Good Friday, but he was forced into a change in just the 10th minute when Jacob Sørensen went off injured.

He was replaced by Shane Duffy, who has only recently returned from a calf problem himself.

Attention will now turn to the East Anglian Derby - Norwich welcome Ipswich to Carrow Road on Saturday: "It's important, but so was yesterday's match.

"The game at home to Plymouth was important, the games before the international break were important.

"All of them count at this stage of the season. Because it's a derby, there's more noise and excitement but it's up to me to make sure everyone has fire in their heart and calm in their head."
