King's Lynn Town have completed the signing of defensive midfielder Emmanuel Oke from Margate FC.

The 21 year old is said to be a "versatile, defensive-minded" addition to the Linnets squad.

He's going full time by taking the job at King's Lynn. He started his career at 17, playing for Corinthians and Mangotsfield United.

Speaking to the King's Lynn Town website, manager Mark Hughes stated “Emmanuel came onto the club’s radar through an agent. I did my due diligence and after speaking to Reece, the manager at Margate who is an ex-teammate, we decided to make Emmanuel an offer.”

“I want my team to be athletic, and Emmanuel at 6’3″ can play in midfield or in defence. He will be a great addition to the squad.”

“I would like to thank Reece for his help in the deal as he was really keen for Emmanuel to go into full time football.”

Preparations are well underway at The Walks for the new National League North season, with the fixtures set to be released next week.
