King’s Lynn Town Football Club enters new era under Turn Sports Investments
New owners say they'll focus on community involvement and long-term sustainability
King’s Lynn Town Football Club has officially transitioned to new ownership under Turn Sports Investments (TSI), marking the start of what the club describes as a "New Era."
TSI has committed to taking on the role of responsible custodians for the football club, focusing on stabilising it in the short term while building structures that ensure long-term sustainability. The group has also announced plans to eventually withdraw from ownership after establishing frameworks for a community-rooted and thriving club.
As part of the restructure, the Blue and Gold Supporters’ Trust has also gained a shareholding, boosting supporter representation and placing community engagement at the centre of the club's priorities. TSI outlined its immediate plans to deepen community participation, strengthen financial management, reinforce local partnerships and rebuild operational structures to enhance the club's resilience.
CEO Bal Srai emphasised the importance of collaboration in shaping the club's future.
"Today is a turning point for King’s Lynn Town Football Club," Srai said.
"TSI has stepped in to protect the club and give us the space we need to rebuild responsibly. Long-term sustainability will only be achieved if the community stands together with us.
The introduction of the Blue and Gold Supporters’ Trust as shareholders is a significant milestone. It reflects our commitment to ensuring supporters are true partners in shaping the club’s future. This is the beginning of a New Era built on collaboration, ambition and community pride, with supporters, volunteers, local partners and club leadership working side by side to build a stronger and more resilient future for the Linnets.
Our goal is clear. We aim to safeguard the club’s future and create the conditions for long-term success. We are custodians rather than permanent owners and our responsibility is to ensure that when we pass the baton on, we do so to a club strengthened by community ownership, engagement and pride."
To promote transparency and supporter inclusion, the club will host a Fans’ Forum on 4th December at the Docherty Walks Stadium. Supporters will be able to engage directly with the leadership team, ask questions, and contribute ideas for the club’s direction. The forum is the first in a series of planned events aimed at increasing community involvement in decision-making.
The club has also confirmed that it has no commercial relationship or ongoing involvement with previous owner Stephen Cleeve, who has written off his director’s loan.
