King's Lynn Town star departs for Scunthorpe United

Tyler Denton has left for The Iron, while two other players have been released

King's Lynn Town left-back Tyler Denton is leaving the club. having signed for fellow National League North side Scunthorpe United.

The 27 year old, who first went professional at Leeds United, made 92 apparances across all competition for the Linnets, scoring three times.

In a statement released on social media, boss Mark Hughes said:

“I spoke to Tyler and has shown great commitment to the club commuting over 3 hours to training and games day in day out."

"With a young family, a move closer to his home was simply too much for him to resist. We wish him all the best in the future.”

The club has also confirmed the release of defender Ben Siggers and midfielder Zain Walker.
