King's Lynn Minster is open to mourners, following the death of Prince Philip.

The Duke of Edinburgh, who spent much of his life at Sandringham after his retirement from public duties in 2017, passed away yesterday (9 April) at the age of 99.

Father Angela Rayner Assistant Curate said:

"We welcome those who'd like to visit the church, light a candle, say a prayer and pay their respects. Priests and volunteers will be available to anyone who would value a conversation. Everybody is welcome.

"Please do pray for Elizabeth our Queen, so that she may know God's comfort."

Floral tributes can also be left in the churchyard, to the left of the church door.

A notice has gone up outside the Minster
