Body discovered near King's Lynn thought to be missing man

A body has been discovered in Gaywood, near King's Lynn.

Police found it whilst conducting local searches of the Rookery yesterday (Tuesday 29 August 2023).

Officers tell us, while formal identification procedures are yet to take place, the family of missing 25-year-old Sam Marranzini, from King’s Lynn, who was last seen at his home address on the 4 August 2023, has been informed.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.

Police say a file will be prepared for the coroner in due course.
