A kestrel is being cared for at the RSPCA's East Winch Wildlife Centre after being seized by Norfolk Police.

Officers found the bird being hand reared at an address, but as its needs weren't being met under the Animal Welfare Act, it as taken away to receive the proper, specialist attention it needs.

They say they believe her keeper had her best interests at heart.

She's now being put through 'Kestrel School' in the hope she can be released into the wild when she's healthy enough.
