King's Lynn Stars finished their Premiership season last night by beating Champions Belle Vue 55-35 - and revealing their first signing of the 2023 season.

Danish star Frederik Jakobsen is to remain at the Adrian Flux, having first joined at the start of August.

Speaking to the club website,Jakobsen said: “Everything has been really good so far and as I have said before, a huge thank you must go to Alex for bringing me in.”

“It was a bit of a risk to take with only a couple of months left in this season but he saw it as an investment for next year as well and I am pleased to sign up for a manager who thinks like that.

“I thank everyone here for making me feel very welcome and I am stoked to be back and working hard to get points for the Stars next year.”

Stars have the final two rounds of the Premiership Pairs tonight at Leicester and in Manchester on Thursday.
