The mum of a six-year-old boy from Cambridgeshire who's now recovering from blood cancer has labelled him as "my hero".
Hunter Martin was diagnosed with lymphoma in September after initially feeling stomach pain, putting a pause to his time playing for the Wisbech St Mary Under 7s football team.
At the weekend, Hunter, a Tottenham Hotspur fan, returned to the pitch for the first time since being given the all clear and scored, which has been seen more than 80 thousand times on social media.
His mum Tanya said it was a touching moment:
"I wasn't there, I was at work and then one of our team mums sent me the picture; I got very choked up and emotional," she said.
"I think he was very overwhelmed, very emotional because of the journey we've all been through and getting to see what Hunter loves doing which is football, I'm very happy."
More than £30,000 raised for Hunter's family
Hunter got the all-clear from cancer in December and after three months in Addenbrooke's Hospital, has since been recovering at home.
More than 14,000 people a year in the UK are diagnosed with lymphoma, according to Blood Cancer UK.
A fundraiser set up by a Wisbech St Mary FC volunteer to help Hunter's family during his diagnosis raised more than £31,000 and has caught the attention of football clubs around the country.
Hunter said he's enjoyed trips to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and meeting some of the players who've offered their support during his recovery.
"He is my hero"
"He is my hero, he's such a little warrior; I can't get over how well he's handled everything he's had to have done," Tanya added.
"We've seen little children going through a lot more than he went through and to see them bounce back is an absolute miracle; they're an inspiration to everybody."
