Great Yarmouth Wilko to shut doors for final time today
The branch is one of 28 going today - after the discount chain went into administration
Great Yarmouth's branch of Wilko is to close its doors for the final time today, after the collapse of its parent company.
The high street chain, which entered administration last month, started its first phase of closures by shutting 24 shops on Tuesday.
The branch in Lowestoft was among those to go earlier this week.
Yarmouth's branch of Wilko opened in 1994, taking on a space at the Market Gates Shopping Centre.
All of Wilko's 400 shops will close by early October, according to administrators from PwC.
Earlier on Thursday, administrators confirmed rival discount chain The Range has snapped up Wilko's brand, website and intellectual property.
It means The Range has the right to use the Wilko name, but it doesn't mean the company is taking on any of the staff or stores.
