Lorry driver arrested following Great Witchingham crash
He was arrested on suspicion of driving with excess drugs and alcohol
Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Great Witchingham.
It happened on Tuesday 10 October on Porter’s Lane at around 4.15pm, when a Triumph motorcycle collided with an HGV.
The motorcyclist was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with serious injuries.
He was later transferred to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, where he remains.
The driver of the HGV has been arrested on suspicion of driving with excess drugs and alcohol.
Officers are now asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the manner of driving of either vehicle to get in touch.
They are also keen to hear from anyone who has dashcam footage.
