Four men have been arrested after a cannabis factory was discovered inside a former hotel in Great Yarmouth.

Police found hundreds of plants inside the former Royston Hotel in Euston Road in the early hours of December 30.

Growing equipment was also seized at the scene.

Police stopped two vehicles which were seen leaving the area, heading towards the A47 and Norfolk.

Two men were arrested at the scene, while two others were detained after a chase involving police dogs and drones.

The four men arrested are aged between 22 and 46 and from the Nottingham and Bedford areas.

They have all been released on bail until March.

Cannabis worth £100,000 was recovered from the building.
