Five people in hospital after serious crash in Hopton
Officers are urging witnesses to get in touch with police
Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Hopton.
The incident occurred on A47 Yarmouth Road at 11.30am on Saturday 15 June when a grey Maserati Quattroporte collided with a yellow Seat Ibiza.
The road was closed whilst emergency services attended the scene including ambulance and fire.
The driver of the Seat and three passengers were taken to the James Paget Hospital with serious injuries. One of the rear seat passengers has since been transferred to Addenbrooke’s Hospital.
The driver of the Maserati was also taken to James Paget Hospital.
The road was reopened at around 5pm.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the manner of driving prior to the incident.
