Norfolk Fire and Rescue urges people not to leave glass in the direct sun after ornament causes fire

Norfolk's fire service is reminding people not to leave glass or mirrors in direct sunlight.

It's after crews yesterday were called to a fire in Norwich, where a glass prism, sat in direct sunlight, had focussed the sun's rays and set fire to some clothes which were left nearby.

Posting on social media, they say they had to force entry to the house, but managed to stop a much more serious fire from developing.
