Emergency Services search for missing windsurfer in Hunstanton

Emergency services are continuing to work with HM Coastguard to locate a missing windsurfer.

Police were called just before 5:20pm last night (14 November) to Cliff Parade, Hunstanton, after a man in his 60s failed to return home from windsurfing along Hunstanton beach.

4 lifeboats, 3 coastguard teams, a Coastguard aircraft and the Police have been searching throughout the night and into this morning.

The man is expected to have entered the water just before 2pm Saturday afternoon.

He is believed to have been wearing a black wetsuit, and windsurfing using a red and white sail. He is described as a white male, with distinctive, long blond hair.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen him to get in contact with Norfolk Police on 101 quoting call number 313 of Saturday 14th November.
