Electrical fault sparks Norfolk kitchen fire
No one was hurt
A Norfolk family has had a lucky escape, after a fire broke out in their home.
The smoke alarm didn't have a battery in it, but by chance, one of them woke up, thinking the house was feeling warm, and found the kitchen alight.
They managed to escape and call 999.
Firefighters have ruled it was started by an electrical fault and are reminding us of the importance of having working smoke alarms in our homes.
