Dog put down after biting woman near Dereham

A dog's been put down after a woman was bitten near Dereham.

Police were called to an address on Gately Road, in Brisley, on 6th October.

The woman was taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment.

Officers say her injuries are not life threatening.

The dog escaped from the property and was located shortly afterwards on School Road.

It was then seized and put down.
