Dispersal Order in force in Wisbech
It follows a violent disorder
A dispersal order is in place in Wisbech.
Police have it in force in Church Terrace beyond the church towards Norfolk Street, Onyx Court and West Street following a violent disorder. last night (16 September) in which two people were injured and one was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn for treatment.
The order will remain in place until 8pm tonight (17 September).
The order has been granted under Section 34 of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 and allows PCSO's and PC's to direct persons to leave the area specified in the order, if they have reasonable grounds to suspect that their behaviour has caused, or is likely to cause, harassment, alarm or distress to members of the public. Failure to comply can result in arrest.
