Diesel thieves drain tanks in Sprowston

It happened some time overnight on Monday

Police are appealing for witnesses and information, after thieves stole 1,600 litres of diesel from an agricultural site in Sprowston.

Two fuel bowsers were targeted sometime between Monday 10 November at 7pm and Tuesday 11 November at 6am.

The theft happened in the area of Wroxham Road in Sprowston, when suspects removed a padlock and chain, transported the bowsers off site, drained them of fuel and dumped them a few miles away.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone with information or dashcam footage which could help the investigation.
