Daniel Farke mural to stay at Norwich pub
The artwork was made in May and will remain to celebrate the German's time at the club.
Daniel Farke may no longer be Norwich's manager, but a part of him will continue to stay in the city.
That's thanks to The Fat Cat and Canary pub on Thorpe Road, who are keeping their mural of the German to remember his four years at the club.
This comes after questions arose over what his recent sacking would mean for the artwork.
Christian Hodgkinson, the landlord of the free house told us how it came about and why it's going nowhere: "It's a great homage to Farke, who was a great manager and got us promoted twice as champions. I think he deserves a bit of praise.
"I was approach by 'Along Come Norwich', a supporters group an they said can you black out a wall we'd like to do a mural.
"I didn't know what it was going to be and then the guy turned up on a Saturday morning and as he started you could see it all coming together. It's an amazing bit of artwork."
He went on to say that the German's sacking was sad, but not unexpected: "It's a bit disappointing, I think he did really well.
"I don't think the Brentford win had anything to do with him being sacked, I think it was all done and dusted before the result against Chelsea which was just embarrassing."
He concluded by saying that new manager Dean Smith has the potential to achieve similar status to his predecessor: "If he can keep us in the Premiership, I don't think that's going to happen this year because too many results have gone against us, but when we bounce up again if he can keep us up then he can have a wall."
