Cyclists injured in Bawburgh crash

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage, after a fail-to-stop collision near Bawburgh this morning (Tuesday 9 September 2025).

The incident happened at approximately 10am on Marlingford Road, near to the junction of Bawburgh Road, in which a white transit van travelling eastwards towards Bawburgh collided with a group of cyclists travelling westwards towards Marlingford. The vehicle did not stop at the scene and the driver-side wing mirror was lost during the incident.

Two of the cyclists suffered minor injuries. An additional cyclist was taken to Norfolk and Norwich University hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries, where he currently remains.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed or has dashcam footage of the collision. Additionally, anyone who may have seen the vehicle since.
