Police investigate after laser disturbs nesting Cromer Peregrine

It's a criminal offence to disturb any nesting bird

Officers from Norfolk Police’s rural crime team are investigating, after a laser was shone directly into a Peregrine’s nest box in Cromer.

It happened at St Peter and St Paul's Church in Cromer, with police saying the incident disturbed the female Peregrine, causing her to leave her nest and chick unattended for several hours.

It's a criminal offence to disturb any nesting bird.

The force is urging anyone with information to come forward.
