Improvements to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital means three conditions of seven have been lifted by the Care Quality Commission.

The trust was previously rated "inadequate" during a 2018 inspection – its lowest ever rating –and retained this score in 2019 and 2020.

Chief executive of the Kings Lynn hospital Caroline Shaw says the lifting of these measures marked “a really important development".

She went on to say that she's confident the remaining four measures will be lifted by Christmas.
