Students back at CWA as man detained at campus
They were taken to Lynnsport while police were on scene
Students have returned to the College of West Anglia this afternoon.
Police were called to the campus on Tennyson Avenue just before 8am, as a man was barricaded inside the building, and students and staff were asked to gather at Lynnsport.
He has now been detained by police.
Students have all now gone back to the college and lessons are continuing as normal.
A Norfolk Police spokesperson said:
"Police were called to the College of West Anglia shortly before 7.50am this morning (Monday 9 November) following concerns for the safety of a man barricaded in the building.
"Emergency services attended the scene and the college was evacuated for precautionary reasons. The man has since been detained."
