Three people have been rescued from the sea close to Sea Palling after getting into difficulty in the water.
Hemsby Lifeboat say there were called to reports of two children in the sea last night, with a member of the public attempting to help the young people also getting into trouble.
Two other adults were also rescued.
Two members of the Hemsby crew were able to get to the scene quickly, as they were visiting nearby Happisburgh Lifeboat Station.
A local fishing boat was able to get all involved to shore, with staff at both Happisburgh and Hemsby Lifeboat stations involved in keeping them safe until paramedics arrived.
In a statement posted on social media, Hemsby Lifeboat said: "It is almost certain that there would have been a very different outcome if not for the quick and decisive actions of the Fishing Vessel."
"Also in attendance were the Ambulance, Police and Fire Services, and Bacton Coastguard teams, who all had a role to play.
"Hemsby ILB, although ready to launch, was not required thanks to the quick thinking of the crew of the Fishing Vessel and the response from Happisburgh.
"Our thanks to all the agencies involved and the prompt action of our nomadic Crew members.
"But our special thanks are reserved for the Fishing Vessel, which we believe saved the day."
