Child cyclist in hospital after crash in King's Lynn

Police are now appealing for witnesses.

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in King’s Lynn.

The incident occurred on Shiregreen at the junction with Winston Churchill Drive at 5.13pm on Friday 19 July 2024, when a grey Skoda Superb collided with a blue pedal cycle.

The road was closed whilst emergency services attended the scene, including ambulance.

The cyclist, a child, was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital with serious injuries. They have since been transferred to Addenbrooke Hospital and are in a stable condition.

The road was reopened at 9.30pm.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or anyone who may have any relevant dashcam footage.
