A cat has been reunited with her family in Norfolk five years after going missing.

Fudge was handed into Feline Care Cat Rescue in East Harling after being discovered at Snetterton Services on the A11.

Staff suspected she had a home and wasn't a stray as she was very friendly after being picked up.

It's not known how she ended up at the service station, although its possible she may have hitched a ride after stowing away in a vehicle.

An appeal to find Fudge's owners was shared 1,600 times on Facebook and was seen by over 60,000 people.

Her owners, who live in Costessey, got in touch after spotting the social media appeal.

Fudge has now been microchopped and returned home to her owners, where she's said to be settling in well.
